Thankfulness for Small wonders

Well, last time I wrote, I wrote about my pastor who was following the crowd. Sunday, everything changed. What started has a sermon on spiritual growth and doing whatever God calls us to do, turned into the pastor explaining that in Duet. 6 God told us what to do. It was great. He explained that it was the father's job to teach the children. I was thankful and proud. My husband and I were weeping with joy, to see this man of God do what he was called for. To lead... That is until he said,"And if it doesn't work, we will go back"

We were stunned. What??? How can you stand there for 15 minutes telling us that it is our job and it is what called us to do in this church and then say that? I don't understand. I don't remember God ever saying that if something doesn't work we don't have to do it. I mean come on now. Give me book, chapter, and verse. I will repent if my thinking is wrong. This is not some program that the pastor just pulled out of the air, this is the Word of God.
