Double mindedness

I am so upset. I hate double mindedness( is that even a word?) Our pastor started family style Sunday School a few months ago, after being convicted of the wrongfulness of age segregation in the church. We were thrilled. That is how we believe and that is why we stayed at our current church. Well, tonight we were handed a survey, in which they want a vote on who likes the new style of the classes. Well, the majority don't, so we are doing away with it. My biggest problem is that our pastor is suppose to be the leader of our church. He clearly feels he heard from God, but because people can't control and train their children, he is going to do away with what God wants.

My family believes that having wrong theology is sin. It means that you are not studying the word of God enough. Well, I have tried to study the Word of God faithfully and I don't remember any of the apostles telling us how to conduct a vote in the church. Having a group of people dictate the way our church is ran is sin.

Well, now what do we do? We pray. Then we pray some more. I guess I can see this as God's answer to our pray about moving. We had been praying about moving so we can go to a church that is ran more biblically, maybe now is the time. I think most of all I am just hurt. We were asked to stay so that we could help the church become family integrated. Now, this.
